Rendering Enhancement and Virtual Staging
Division, the Zurich studio for the visualization and marketing of real estate, enhances existing renderings and photos: better light, more atmosphere, real people, day and night versions. We furnish empty rooms digitally (virtual staging) and show existing properties in their renovated state (virtual renovation). For property developers, real estate agents and architects across German-speaking Switzerland. Faster than a new visualization.
What you get
- Enhanced renderings: new light, better colours, more atmosphere.
- Real people instead of typical 3D figures.
- Day and night versions from the same image, on request.
- Virtual staging: empty rooms in photos furnished digitally.
- Virtual renovation: existing properties shown as they will look after renovation.
- Photo editing: post-processing of photos of existing properties.
- Finished high-resolution files for print, web, property portals and social media.
- One point of contact for everything.
We do not change anything about the building. Architecture, facade and materials remain as planned. The only exception is virtual renovation: there, we deliberately show the state after the renovation you are planning.
Who it is for
- Property developers whose renderings from the architect look too technical for sales.
- Real estate agents who take over a project and have to work with the existing images.
- Real estate agents with existing properties whose photos show empty rooms or rooms in need of renovation.
- Architects who want to get their renderings ready for marketing.
- Projects where marketing is already under way but the images attract too little interest.
Our focus is on new-build projects, from a single apartment building to a large residential development.
Rendering enhancement or a new visualization?
Rendering enhancement is the right choice if:
- your renderings or photos already exist,
- the viewpoints are right,
- but the images look cold, technical or empty.
We change light, colours, atmosphere, people, day and night versions and, on request, the furnishings. The basis is your existing renderings or photos.
A new visualization is the right choice if:
- there are no images yet,
- or the viewpoints are not right.
In that case we build the image from scratch, including perspective and composition. The basis is plans, sections, elevations and the material concept. More on this under Architectural visualization.
How it works
- Send images. You send the renderings or photos in the highest available resolution and tell us briefly what bothers you.
- Free demo. We enhance one image as a work sample. You see the result before you order anything.
- Quote. You receive a fixed quote for all images.
- First draft. We tell you the date before you place the order.
- Feedback. 2–3 feedback rounds until light, atmosphere and details are right.
- Delivery. Finished files for print, web, portals and social media.
Delivery time
Rendering enhancement is faster than a new visualization, because no new 3D model is needed and the composition is already in place. For comparison: with a new visualization, you receive the first draft in 4–5 days. The first draft is followed by 2–3 feedback rounds. When everything is finished depends on the number of images. We tell you the date before you place the order. If your marketing launch date is already fixed, we agree a binding delivery date in advance.
What it costs
The price depends on how many images there are and what should change: only light and atmosphere, or also people, night versions and furnishings. There is no flat price per image. You receive a fixed quote in advance. Because no new 3D model is needed, rendering enhancement usually costs less than a new visualization. Beforehand, we enhance one image free of charge as a demo.
If you plan the complete marketing with us, we choose one of four packages based on project size: Start (1–4 units), Standard (5–10), Premium (11–30) or Komplett (over 30). More on this under Marketing for new-build projects.

Frequently asked questions
What does rendering enhancement cost?
That depends on the number of images and the scope, which is why Division does not quote a flat price. You receive a fixed quote in advance. Rendering enhancement usually costs less than a new visualization, because no new 3D model is built. We enhance one image free of charge as a demo first.
How long does rendering enhancement take?
Rendering enhancement is faster than a new visualization, because no new 3D model is needed and the composition is already in place. With a new visualization, you receive the first draft in 4–5 days. The first draft is followed by 2–3 feedback rounds. If your marketing launch date is fixed, we agree a binding date in advance.
Do you change the building when enhancing renderings?
No. Division changes light, colours, atmosphere, people and, on request, the furnishings. Architecture, facade and materials remain as planned. Only with virtual renovation do we deliberately show the state after your planned renovation.
Can you furnish empty apartments virtually?
Yes, with virtual staging. Division furnishes empty rooms in photos digitally, so prospective buyers can see what living there could be like. This works for existing properties and for finished new-build apartments that are still empty.
Does this also work with photos of existing properties?
Yes. In addition to renderings, Division also works on photos: photo editing, virtual staging and virtual renovation. With virtual renovation, buyers see an existing property in its renovated state before the first tradesperson arrives.
Which files do you need?
The renderings or photos in the highest available resolution, ideally without text or logos in the image. Add a short note on what bothers you about the current image. For a virtual renovation, we also need details of the planned renovation, for example materials and colours.
When is rendering enhancement better than a new visualization?
When the viewpoints are right but the images look cold or technical. Then rendering enhancement is faster and less expensive. If the viewpoints are not right or images are missing, a new architectural visualization is the better choice.
