‍

‍

2. General

Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process your personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

‍

Personal data refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. In this statement, we inform you about which data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have.

‍

3. Data processing when visiting the website (server log files)

Every time you access our website, the hosting provider automatically collects information and stores it in server log files. This includes, in particular:

‍

  • IP address of the accessing device
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the accessed file
  • Browser and operating system used
  • Referrer URL (previously visited page)

‍

This data is processed to ensure smooth operation, security, and statistical analysis. This data is not combined with other data sources. Processing is based on our overriding legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functional website.

‍

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by the following provider:

‍

Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA

‍

The provider processes the aforementioned data on our behalf as a data processor. A corresponding data processing agreement is in place.

‍

5. Cookies

Our website may use cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and save specific settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser.

‍

We distinguish between technically necessary cookies, which are required for the operation of the website, and optional cookies (e.g., for statistics or marketing). Optional cookies are only set with your consent.

‍

You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies in general, or to delete stored cookies.

‍

On your first visit, a notice at the bottom of the screen asks whether we may set statistics cookies. We do not use an external consent tool; the notice is part of our website. We store your choice in your browser's local storage («dvConsent») and ask again after 180 days. Unless you choose «Accept», no statistics cookies are set. With your consent, Google Analytics sets the cookies «_ga» and «_ga_<ID>» (lifetime up to 2 years, see section 7). Without consent, we only keep technical details in your browser's session storage, such as the entry page and campaign parameters from the link you came from, without name, email address or phone number; in addition, Cloudflare sets the technically necessary cookie «_cfuvid» to protect the website against abuse. You can change your choice at any time via the «Cookie settings» link in the footer; if you choose «Decline», Google's cookies are deleted on our website.

‍

6. Contacting us

If you contact us via our contact form, email, or telephone, your details (e.g., name, email address, phone number, and your message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

‍

Data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

‍

7. Analysis and tracking tools

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how our website is used (e.g., pages visited, clicks on contact options, approximate location, device). The provider for Switzerland and the EEA is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google sets cookies for this purpose («_ga», «_ga_<ID>»). The data is stored by Google and may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. We keep it for a maximum of 14 months.

‍

Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set or read. The Google tag is still loaded and sends individual signals without cookies to Google (e.g., that a page was viewed, time, browser and device details, the state of your cookie choice); Google uses these for aggregated, modelled reports. Each time the Google tag is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to Google for technical reasons. You can withdraw your consent at any time via «Cookie settings» in the footer. ‍

8. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

Your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if:

‍

  • you have given your express consent,
  • it is necessary for the performance of a contract with you,
  • there is a legal obligation, or
  • disclosure to service providers commissioned by us (data processors, e.g., hosting) who are contractually obligated to comply with data protection regulations.

‍

9. Data Transfer Abroad

If we transfer data to service providers abroad, we ensure that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed—either because the country in question has adequate data protection laws or through contractual safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses). This applies in particular to our hosting provider Webflow, Inc. (USA; delivery also via Cloudflare, Fastly and Amazon Web Services) and to Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (Ireland and USA) for web analytics. For the USA, we rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, otherwise on standard contractual clauses.

‍

10. Retention

We process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the respective purposes or as required by legal retention obligations. Thereafter, the data will be deleted or anonymized.

‍

11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data transmission on this website is encrypted via SSL/TLS.

‍

12. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the following rights in particular:

‍

  • Right to access the personal data we process
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure or restriction of processing
  • Right to withdraw consent
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing

‍

To exercise your rights, simply send a notification to the contact address provided above. Identification may be required to protect your rights.

‍

13. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the:

‍
